Add a little sparkle to your at home celebrations this year with an easy do it yourself display for your divas and sweets.

What you will need:

  • 8 divas

  • 8 candle lights

  • 4 divas

  • 1 circular tray (I am using one from our wedding)

  • 1 dupatta (I am using a silk tye-dye dupatta from an old salwar kameez)

  • 3 or 4 faux flowers and greenery

  • 1 circular plate

What to eat:

  • Nuts: pistachio, walnut, cashew nut, raw almond, peanut clusters

  • Dried fruit: dried apricot

  • Indian Sweets: Motichoor ladoo & Khoya Burfi

  • Dhokla

Putting your board together

  1. Start by taking your dupatta and draping it over your tray. Collect the loose ends and hold them on one side of the plate

  2. Using your greenery, wrap around the excess dupatta to tie it to one side.

  3. Take the faux flowers and wrap them around the greenery to decorate your board

  4. Place your plate in the middle of the tray

  5. Place your choice of nuts in four divas

  6. Arrange your Indian sweets and Dholka

  7. Place the 8 divas and 8 candle lights in a circular patter on the edges of your tray

  8. Light your candles

  9. Serve and enjoy!
