Happy New Year Friends!
It's 2022 and we are going to live our most amazing lives this year!
It's been a roller coaster the last few years with working from home, back-to-the office and an ever changing climate of social engagement; but now that we know our new normal will include a face mask; I am not letting anything stop me this year from achieving balance, health and happiness.
To kick start the year, I am sharing a few tools and finds with you to help you jump start this year with a fresh outlook for your well being so you can be the most chic version of yourself!
A fresh face
After having two children and making it to the over 35 club last year; I noticed my skin was aging exponentially. I started to see dark spots, discoloration, sagging (ugh) and a few dreaded wrinkles on my forehead and Nasolabial folds. I decided to venture out and do research on how to address my skin. I consulted my dermatologist and esthetician to provide recommendations on skin care solutions that would slow down or reverse these skin conditions. You know me; I also documented it all! I started using these products in August last year (after hitting 36) and have been so astonished by the results. Here is my journey; unfiltered of course. I am sharing all the beauty products used below and would highly recommend them to give you a fresh face this new year.
BEFORE

This is my before photo. You can clearly see brown spots, skin discoloration around my mouth, under eyes, and cheeks. Redness on my nose and cheeks. Fine lines on my forehead, under eyes and smile. Spot acne and visibility of pores.
AFTER 2 MONTHS

Brown spots are fading, discoloration around mouth and cheeks fading, redness on nose and cheeks stabilizing. Fine lines on forehead less visible and under eyes.
AFTER 5 MONTHS

Significant reduction in brown spots, discoloration around mouth and cheeks. Significant reduction of fine lines on forehead and under eye. Increase in elasticity and tightness of skin. Smooth texture of skin and reduction of pores.

Even though SkinCeuticals suggests applying twice a day; I have very sensitive skin so I applied just once a day as my morning routine. I used two- three drops of each product in the sequence as listed below. I waited 1 minute in between and 5 minutes before applying sunblock.
