This is my go to recipe that I love making as an easy appetizer. I often will take it over to a friends house during potluck, make it for game day, and its classy enough to make for your first course for Thanksgiving Dinner, Christmas Dinner or Afternoon Tea.
What you will need:
2 packages of Pillsbury crescents (8 rolls in each tube)
shredded mozzarella cheese
sliced ham
dried basil seasoning
two eggs
foil or baking sheet
oven safe dish
whisk
knife
silicon cooking brush

Step 1:
place three slices of ham in plate and cut horizontally into pieces.
roll each stack of three together
stuff a pinch-full of mozzarella cheese into each roll
set on side
in a bowl, crack two large eggs and beat/whisk until frothy
set to side when done

Step 2:
line a oven safe dish with foil or baking sheet paper
roll the Pillsbury crescent dough around the ham and mozzarella
(Pro tip) place crescent dough on sheet and then place ham and cheese onto the dough. place the ham and cheese near the largest end and roll toward the smallest end of dough
place the ham and cheese crescent onto the foil
using a silicon cooking brush, dip and brush egg yoke onto the ham and cheese crescent
(pro tip) cover entire crescent with egg yoke for best taste and baking

Step three:
shake the basil on top of each crescent dough
( pro tip) if you would like to have your ham and cheese croissant to be extra cheesy add extra cheese on top and brush egg yoke on top
preheat oven for 375 º
Follow baking time on package

after removing from oven, wait until they have cooled down before serving
Enjoy!
